Mandatory Volunteer Hours:
The family volunteer requirement for the 2018 season will be 2-3 hours “with shifts dependent upon scheduling needs”. We will be posting the hours on our website, for you to fulfill your volunteer obligation. Sunday night camp, tryouts, opening day, all star festival, tournaments are some of the opportunities for you to volunteer. We understand that the summer and baseball can be time consuming, so we appreciate your help. We allow any family member to volunteer who is over the age of 16. Failure to comply will result in the player being unable to participate until resolved.
A volunteer deposit check of $150 dollars will be required for your son/daughter to play in the 2018 season. Checks will not be cashed if hours are fulfilled. There in an opt out option for $100 to be paid when teams are announced.
Checks will be collected by the level coordinators through the team managers.
Each check must list the players name, age and level.
Volunteer Exemption Policy:
The head coach, 2 assistant coaches, 1 team manager from each team (max of 4) and the level coordinators will be exempt. The requirement is per family, not per player for the 2-3 volunteer hours.
Rain Out Policy:
If a tournament or event you are scheduled to volunteer at is canceled, we will honor your obligation as complete.
